Uses
Lamb, hogget, mutton. Wool: Knitwear, hand knitting and blended for fine cloth. Used for crossing with hill breeds for productive and prolific cross bred ewes. The North of England Mule is created by crossing the Blue Faced Leicester ram with primarily the Swaledale ewe.
