Origin
Island of Soay, St Kilda, found off the west coast of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland
Class
Two horned rams, horned/polled ewes. Primitive short tailed sheep.
Colour
Chocolate or tan fleece, occasionally black sheep occur.
Parentage
Ancient breed probably descended from primitive or wild northern European sheep.
